The Boxer breed originated from mastiffs. They were originally used for dog fighting, cattle dogs, and cart pulling. Their life span is usually between eleven to fourteen years. They are very playful dogs, and they love to run. Boxers are very curious dogs. Their bodies are very stocky and built. They can run for a very long time and have great stamina. They can stand up to two feet tall on all fours, and they can weigh between sixty and seventy pounds. Their tails are usually cut short.
