Golden Retrievers
The golden retriever breed has been known to be family oriented, police dogs, sight dogs, and many others. When golden retrievers are puppies they are very hyper, but they do settle down over the years. They are long-haired dogs with a golden coat. They can stand almost two feet tall on all fours, they can weigh in between sixty and eighty pounds. Their life span is usually between ten to twelve years. The golden retriever is one of the most popular dogs. They originate in Scotland. They are great dogs!
Carly
When I was four years old my family and I got a boxer. She was a rescue dog, and her name was Carly. Carly was about four years old when we first got her. She was used as a fighting dog, and she had scares all over. Even though she used for fighting she was the sweetest dog! All she wanted to do was be part of a family. Her coat was fawn, but she was white on her chest and feet. We used to let her out and she would run around the whole neighborhood before coming back. When she got older she did not run as much as she used too. My family and I had her for almost ten years before she passed away.
Boxers
The Boxer breed originated from mastiffs. They were originally used for dog fighting, cattle dogs, and cart pulling. Their life span is usually between eleven to fourteen years. They are very playful dogs, and they love to run. Boxers are very curious dogs. Their bodies are very stocky and built. They can run for a very long time and have great stamina. They can stand up to two feet tall on all fours, and they can weigh between sixty and seventy pounds. Their tails are usually cut short. They are great family dogs!

English Mastiffs
The English Mastiff is one of the most ancient dog breeds. Said to be dating all the way back to 3000 BC. By the end of World War II the breed was practically extinct as were most of the breeds in England . The breed was used for guard dogs, search and rescue, and they were even put in the arena with the gladiators in Rome. English Mastiffs are one of the biggest dogs on Earth. They can weigh up to two hundred pounds. Their life span is between ten to twelve years. The breed is usually calm and loves to socialize. When they are puppies they are just little balls of fur, but before you know it they will most likely weigh more than you.

Frankie
Frankie at 8 weeks |
Frankie at 2 months |
In December of last year my family and I got a brand new mastiff puppy. We named her Francesca Bubbles, nicknamed Frankie. When we first got her she was just a little ball of fluff. Now, she is huge weighing almost a hundred pounds and still growing. Even though she is almost a hundred pounds, she thinks that she is five pounds. She'll jump up on the couch and sit right on top of you. She will go into her basket full of toys and take each one out and just lay them around the house. When she lays in bed with you she takes up more than half of the bed. She is the sweetest dog I have ever had!
